In autumn, the high-quality Ahr grapes ripen - wine, winegrowers and the harvest are very close on many hikes. Indian summer" conjures up a special atmosphere in the vineyards, when the vine leaves change colour in numerous shades. Winter hikes are a new trend - the snow-covered Ahr mountains and paths set a contemplative mood and allow everyone to relax.

Turn-by-turn directions

Of little sheep and giant trees along the way

Through the Wingsbach up to wooded heights

The picturesque Wingsbach valley with its small babbling brook is the quiet and relaxing start to this hike. Then the trail leads through the forest up through the Hungertal valley and over the ridge of the Schnälzhardt back towards the Ahr valley. On the way, two giant trees attract attention and the tour's crowning glory is a fantastic view of the Ahr valley and Ahrweiler.

Fast nur Wald, Bergauf und sehr schattig. Ein kurzer Blick auf die Weinberge. Eher was für warme Sommertage.
