Winery Rebenhof

Our winery "Rebenhof - Die Riesling Manufaktur" is located in Ürzig - in the heart of the Middle Moselle - not far from the medieval wine and philosopher town of Bernkastel-Kues. The modern ambience of our Riesling winery pays homage to the Moselle's leading grape variety. We focus on clear lines and the combination of natural materials such as slate and oak wood in contrast to glass and steel.

On about 7 hectares, we exclusively vinify Rieslings, mostly from the steep slopes of the famous vineyards "Ürziger Würzgarten" and "Erdener Treppchen". True to the estate philosophy "Everything is in the vineyard", the vines are tended. The yields of the predominantly old Riesling vines, which are true to their roots, are deliberately kept low, allowing the full potential of the vineyard to unfold. Careful vinification (selective hand-picking, gentle grape processing, slow natural fermentation and ripening) is a matter of course. The wine thus retains what the grape has brought with it: concentrated, long-lasting fruit aromas, strong minerals from red slate and conglomerate soils, which are typical of the Rotliegende site. The terroir, the synthesis of soil, microclimate, vines and the skill of the winemaker, can trigger an exciting fascination in the glass: Riesling vom Rebenhof! Since the 2015 vintage, we have generally dispensed with animal additives in the wine, so that you can enjoy without hesitation. You can enjoy the wine, which has won awards from Eichelmann and Falstaff, at a wine tasting in German or English. In our guesthouse - awarded 4 stars by the DTV - you can enjoy relaxing and eventful holidays on the winegrowing farm. Whether it's a seminar wine tasting, a tour through the vineyards, a variety of culture & culinary events, information about the geology and history of the terroir, culinary menus with corresponding wines or a visit to other very good wine producers ... we will be happy to help you make your visit a real Moselle experience. Our winery is one of the members of the Bernkasteler Ring e.V. - the oldest auction society in Germany - which is dedicated to producing special Riesling wines from the best sites in the best quality.
