The Spit Roast House - Old Chancellery & Café Ratsstübchen
Idar-Oberstein spit roast from the grill over beech wood fire and regional specialties. At the market place Oberstein below the Felsenkirche.
You can watch the roast master prepare the spit-roast over an open flame. In addition to the Idar-Oberstein spit-roast, we offer regional good plain German cuisine. Coffee and homemade cakes are also on offer.
For hikers: Next to our restaurant, the exit to the Felsenkirche and the two castles as well as to the dream loop "Nahe-Felsen-Weg" leads past. We are in the immediate vicinity of the Saar-Hunsrück Climb.
