Der Prädikatsweg AhrSteig führt mit einer Strecke von rund 100 Kilometern von der Ahrquelle bis zur Mündung. Der AhrSteig ist nicht nur ein anspruchsvoller Wanderweg, er begeistert durch seine natürliche Vielfalt, sowie den Reichtum an Naturdenkmälern und Kulturschätzen entlang der Wegstrecke. Eindrucksvolle Ausblicke in das romantische Ahrtal bis weit über die Ahrhöhen hinaus zeichnen die einzigartigen Wege des AhrSteigs aus. Idyllische Waldwege und stille Wiesenpfade stehen sanften Hochflächen und engen Felspfaden gegenüber, einsame Hochplateaus wechseln sich mit lebendigen Weinorten ab. Entlang der Etappen laden zertifizierte „Qualitätsgastgeber Wanderbares Deutschland“ Naturfreunde und Wanderer zur Rast und zum Verweilen ein.
