The park was built on a former railway area, very closed to the Schalkenmehrer railway station, in the centre of the Vulkaneifel. In the functional building you find 3 handicapped accessible sanitary units and a reception.
5 of the parking places have a paved underground.
The cycle path: Maare-Mosel-Radweg can be easily found and is handycapped accessible for use.

- The registration takes place at a vending machine. The operating elements are located at a height of 100 to 150 cm.
