All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified - accessible for people with walking disabilities".

Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report.

• There is one unmarked parking space for people with disabilities (parking space size: 350 cm x 550 cm).
• The path from the car park to the entrance is 30 m long and has a maximum longitudinal gradient of 6 % over a distance of 10 m.
• The building is steplessly accessible.
• All evaluated rooms and facilities available to the guests are accessible at ground level or via an elevator.
• The elevator cabin measures 110 cm x 140 cm. The elevator door is 80 cm wide.
• Almost all evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 90 cm wide. Exception: The elevator door is 80 cm wide.
• The reception desk is 90 cm high. There is another, equivalent communication possibility while in a sitting position.
• There are wheelchair accessible tables available in the restaurant (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm).
• There is no public toilet designed for people with disabilities.

Rooms 105b and 209b (double room)

• Room 209b is connected to room 209a via a common entrance area. Room 209a is mirror-inverted and identical to room 209b.
• The manoeuvring spaces in front of essential stationary furnishings (e.g. wardrobe) and to the left or right of the single beds are at least 150 cm x 150 cm.
• The beds are 47 cm high.
• A nursing bed is not available.
• The manoeuvring spaces in the bathroom are:
  behind the door, in front of the toilet and the washbasin 120 cm x 150 cm;
  right of the toilet at least 100 cm x 71 cm, no manoeuvring space on the left
• There are grab rails available on the right and left of the toilet. The grab rail on the right of the toilet can be flipped-up.
• The sink is wheelchair compatible.
• The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
• The shower is steplessly variable (treshold available).
• The manoeuvring space in the shower is 120 cm x 120 cm.
• A shower seat is available or can be provided if required.
• There are grab rails available in the shower.
• An alarm trigger is not available.

• There is no clearly visible alarm.
• There is no audio induction loop system.
• An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed audibly.
• In the restaurant there are tables with bright and glare-free lighting, on which there are no lamps standing or hanging that interfere with the field of vision or eye contact. There is no seating area with low background noises (e.g. corner seating, separate room).

Rooms 105b and 209b (double room)

• There is at least one electrical outlet available near the bed.
• The ringing or knocking on the door is not indicated by a flashing signal which can be detected in all rooms.
• W-LAN is offered.

• Assistance dogs are allowed in relevant areas/rooms.
• The entrance is visually rich in contrast, but not recognizable by a tactile change of floor covering.
• All evaluated and usable areas for the guest are well illuminated, i.e. bright and glare-free.
• There are no visually contrasting or tactilely detectable floor indicators available.
• The signage is designed in clearly legible and contrasting font.
• There are glass doors without safety markings.
• An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed audibly. The break position is not announced by spoken commands. The operating controls are not visually rich in contrast, but tactilely detectable. Alternatively stairs are available.
• Steps are not visually rich in contrast. Stairs have a handrail on one side.
• Information is not available in Braille or prismatic font.
