If you are using a GPS please make sure you type in the correct zip code 54531. There is another Manderscheid in the Bitburg/Prüm area, about 50 kilometers from here. We don not want you to get lost on your way here. The Heidsmühle is located on the outskirts of the little town Manderscheid, in the valley of the ´kleine kyll´. This is how you can reach us: * via the Autobahn A48,A1 Exit Manderscheid,follow the signs to Manderscheid and then follow the signs to Heidsmühle in the roundabout in the center of the town From the north through the Eifel: if you are coming from the cologne area take the A1 until the end of the Autobahn. You will reach Manderscheid by passing Hillesheim and Daun. Follow the signs to Heidsmühle in the roundabout in the center of the town. * via the Autobahn A 60 from Lüttich Exit Spangdahlem'Manderscheid follow the signs over Grosslittgen to Manderscheid. At the volcanic lake museum in the center of the town follow the signs to Heidsmühle. For your GPS our adress: mosenbergstr.22 will not work correctly for some types of GPS so please type in Heidsmuehle or drive to 54531 Manderscheid and follow the signsCoordinates

- There are two marked parking spaces for people with disabilities (parking space size: 310 cm x 550 cm).
- The building is accessible without steps. The mobile ramp at the hotel entrance has a maximum inclination of 15 % and a total length of 1 m.
- All evaluated rooms and facilities that can be used by the guest are steplessly accessible, if necessary via an elevator, a ramp, or alternative routes.
- The elevator cabin measures 110 cm x 140 cm. The elevator door is 90 cm wide.
- The mobile ramp between the restaurant and the public toilet has a maximum inclination of 25 % and a total length of 1 m.
- There are two steps between the hotel and the restaurant. The alternative outdoor path is stepless.
- All doors / passages are at least 70 cm wide.
- The reception desk is 75 cm high at the lowest point.
- In the restaurant there are 15 wheelchair accessible tables (maximum height 80 cm, accessible at a height of 67 cm with a depth of 30 cm).

Room 15 (double bedroom)
- The maneuvering spaces are as follows:
- in front of essential furnishings (e.g. cupboards) 200 cm x 200 cm;
- to the left of the bed 55 cm x 170 cm; to the right of the bed 200 cm x 170 cm.
- The bed is 45 cm high.
- A nursing bed cannot be provided.
- The bathroom door opens to the inside.
- The maneuvering spaces in the bathroom are as follows:
- in front of the washbasin 200 cm x 160 cm;
- in front of the toilet 160 cm x 200 cm;
- to the left of the toilet 5 cm x 55 cm and to the right of the toilet 20 cm x 55 cm when using the mobile handle frame.
- There is a mobile handle frame for the toilet. The handles cannot be folded up.
- The washbasin is wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of less than 30 cm. The mirror can be seen while sitting or standing.
- The shower is accessible without thresholds. The shower area measures 130 cm x 200 cm. There are no grab handles in the shower. A shower seat is available or can be provided if required.
- There is no alarm trigger.
Room 19 (double bedroom)
- The maneuvering spaces are as follows:
- in front of essential furnishings (e.g. cupboards) 200 cm x 150 cm;
- to the left of the bed 76 cm x 200 cm; to the right of the bed 150 cm x 200 cm.
- The bed is 45 cm high.
- A nursing bed cannot be provided.
- The bathroom door opens to the inside.
- The maneuvering spaces in the bathroom are as follows:
- in front of the washbasin 137 cm x 84 cm;
- in front of the toilet 137 cm x 84 cm;
- to the left of the toilet 15 cm x 55 cm and to the right of the toilet 27 cm x 55 cm.
- The washbasin is wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of at least 30 cm. The mirror cannot be seen while sitting.
- The shower is not steplessly accessible (threshold of 13 cm). The shower area measures 74 cm x 74 cm. There are no handles in the shower. There is no shower seat nor can be provided if required.
- There is no alarm trigger.
Public toilet for people with disabilities
- The maneuvering spaces are as follows:
- in front of the washbasin 200 cm x 200 cm;
- in front of the toilet 200 cm x 200 cm;
- to the left of the toilet 60 cm x 77 cm and to the right of the toilet 30 cm x 77 cm.
- There are handles on the left and right of the toilet. The left handle can be folded up.
- The washbasin is wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of less than 30 cm. The mirror can be seen while sitting or standing.

- An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed acoustically, e.g. by an intercom system.
