Elegant Nouveau Art villa, completely renovated in 2011, featuring a restaurant, seminar rooms with modern equipment, a club room, a conservatory for dinner parties, sun terraces and barbecue nights. Idyllically situated at the edge of the Palatinate Forest and with a lovely view to the castles Trifels, Anebos and Munz, Kurhaus Trifels is a starting point for beautiful hikes and walks. Kurhaus Trifels hosts conferences, seminars, weddings and other family celebrations and welcomes holiday guests in the calm surroundings of the Palatinate Forest and the lovely view at the former emperor’s castle Trifels. A good breakfast buffet is always included. In our restaurant we serve traditional and innovative meals, all fresh and home-made with good and seasonal ingredients. We use as many ingredients from organic and regional farming as possible and also offer a range of vegetarian and vegan meals.

Free of charge cancellations are possible up to 7 days before your scheduled arrival. Children are most welcome. Pets are allowed upon request. Breakfast is included.

Getting there

How to get there: From the Autobahn A65, take exit Landau Nord. Drive towards Annweiler on Bundesstraße B10, take exit Annweiler. At the roundabout, turn right towards Annweiler town center. When you reach the traffic lights, turn left (street's name Osterbächel). At the end of the road, turn left towards Bindersbach. Follow the main road until Kurhausstraße. The hotel is at the very end of the road. Free parking.

  • There is a marked parking space for people with disabilities (parking space size: 300 cm x 500 cm; distance to the entrance: 40 m).
  • The path to the entrance is easy to walk and drive on and has a longitudinal gradient of 3% over a distance of 9 m.
  • The hotel is accessible without steps or thresholds.
  • All evaluated rooms that can be used by the guest can be reached via the elevator.
  • The elevator cab measures 102 cm x 127 cm, the elevator door is 80 cm wide.
  • All evaluated passages/doors that are usable for the guest are at least 80 cm wide.
  • The reception desk is 100 cm high.
  • There are wheelchair accessible tables in the restaurant.

Room 14 (1st floor, double bedroom)

  • The door to the room is 81 cm wide.
  • The manoeuvring spaces are as follows:
    • behind the door and in front of the cabinet 118 cm x 232 cm,
    • to the left of the bed 78 cm x 182 cm and to the right 89 cm x 182 cm. The bed can be moved to create a width of 113 cm on the right side.
  • The double bed is 57 cm high, 200 cm wide and wheelchair accessible.
  • A nursing bed cannot be provided.
  • In the bathroom, the manoeuvring spaces are as follows:
    • in front of the door 212 cm x 118 cm;
    • behind the door, in front of the toilet and washbasin 234 cm x 150 cm;
    • right next to the toilet 90 cm x 57 cm; there is no manoeuvring space to the left.
  • Left and right of the toilet there are handles, the right one can be folded up.
  • The washbasin is wheelchair accessible. The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
  • The shower area at ground level is 150 cm x 150 cm in size. There is a shower chair and horizontal grab handles.
  • An alarm trigger is present (cord).

Public toilet for people with disabilities (basement)

  • The manoeuvring spaces in the sanitary room are as follows:
    • behind the door, in front of the toilet and in front of the washbasin 140 cm x 205 cm;
    • to the left of the toilet 126 cm x 57 cm; to the right there is no manoeuvring space.
  • Left and right of the toilet there are handles, the left one can be folded up.
  • The washbasin has limited wheelchair access and the mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
  • There is an alarm trigger (cord).
