Take on a sporty challenge and experience the joy of climbing in the canopy: right next to Oranienstein Palace in Diez's Hain city park, you can shimmy over bridges, climb over nets, and whizz down to the ground on a zip line. . . and all in a majestic oak forest – 1 to 12 metres in the air. The thickest oak has a diameter of 1.20 metres!
You can test your limits with different levels of difficulty: from the ""familiarisation course"" (1 metre), ""feeling brave course"" (1-1.50 metres), ""king's class"", and ""Everest 1 course"" (12 metres).
Children from 5 years of age and 130 cm grip height may climb together with an adult; children from 12 years of age may climb unaccompanied.
Non-climbers are welcome to watch and don't need to pay an entrance fee. If you feel a bit peckish or thirsty, you can grab refreshments at the kiosk or visit one of the other restaurants in the vicinity.
Prices:
Adults pay €16 for three hours of climbing, including equipment and induction; children (including school-age children), teenagers, and interns pay €12.
