The unspoilt banks of the Nahe are an angler's paradise. Eel, land eel, perch, pike, carp, zander, catfish, wels, tench, asp, brown trout, grayling, rainbow trout, barbel, chub, hazel, nose, char and arctic char find their habitat here and delight the heart of the angler. The 16-kilometre-long fishing area is managed by the Nahe Angling Club and the Bad Münster am Stein Angling Nature Conservation Association. The Altenbamberg Angling Club has fishing rights on the Alsenz River over a stretch of 6.3 kilometres.
