Oberwesel – Elfenley – Abstecher Günderodehaus – Oelsbergsteig oder Skulpturenpfad – Aussichtspunkt Maria Ruh – Galgenbachtal – Seelenbachtal – Kretschhütte – Lohbachtal - St. Goar
English travellers often believed in ghosts and loved gothic horror – and they certainly found plenty to inspire them during their travels along the Rhine: seven rocks which today rise from the water near Oberwesel at low tide are said to once have been seven drowned maidens. Mysticism and fairy tales accompany you on your way to Maria Ruh, where you can enjoy the most beautiful view of the Loreley.
Safety on the via ferratas:
In addition to the general health and safety hiking rules, children and inexperienced hikers should use special climbing equipment and a guide when using a via ferrata.
The B9 follows the Rhine to Oberwesel and St. Goar. In St. Goar there is a car ferry to St. Goarshausen.
