Theshorter route is 8.5 km long and has a cumulative elevationgain of 590 metres.
The longer route – Ehrbachklamm DreamLoop + Schöneck Loop – is 14.8 km long with a cumulativeelevation gain of 840 metres. The final decision as to whether you want to follow the shorteror longer trail has to be taken after 5km, once you have reachedthe Schöneck and Rauschenburg lookouts. We recommendthe slightly longer trail, as you can never get enoughof the Ehrbachklamm Dream Loop with its scenic beauty andobjects of cultural and historical interest.
You should allow around 6 hours. It will take a little longer ifyou avail yourself of the hospitality of the Daubisberger Millin the Ehrbachklamm, or the Tenne Inn in Oppenhausen. Thebest way to experience the beauty of the Ehrbachklamm andthe rippling stream with its waterfalls is to follow the DreamLoop in an anticlockwise direction upstream.
