From the bus stop, walk up Neumayerstraße and reach Haalbergstraße at the school. The Mandeltal hikers' car park is about 300 metres away on the right at the end of the road.
Getting there
From the north:
Via the A61 motorway at the Frankenthal junction, take the A6 towards Kaiserslautern. Exit Grünstadt/Deutsche Weinstraße. Continue on B271 (Dt. Weinstraße) towards Bad Dürkheim, exit Weisenheim am Berg and at the entrance to Weisenheim am Berg turn right onto the bypass until almost the end of the village. At the bend, turn left into the village and immediately right again into Neumayerstraße. At the end of the road, turn right into Haalbergstraße until you reach the hikers' car park.
From the south:
Via the A61 motorway at the Ludwigshafen junction, take the A650 towards Bad Dürkheim. At the end of the motorway, continue on the B37. Pass the Bruch industrial area, turn right at the next traffic lights towards Ungstein. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit into the town. After approx. 50 m turn right onto B271 (Dt. Weinstraße), direction Grünstadt. At the traffic lights in Herxheim am Berg turn left towards Weisenheim am Berg. At the entrance to Weisenheim am Berg, turn right onto the bypass road until almost the end of the village. At the bend, turn left into the village and immediately right again into Neumayerstraße. At the end of the road, turn right into Haalbergstraße until you reach the hikers' car park.
