Turn-by-turn directions

From the Mandeltal hikers' car park, the trail first leads back in the same direction as the circular trails "2" and "4", past the school and then immediately in a sharp hairpin bend to the right into the forest. The path bends to the left and you then go left again towards the south and round the end of the village in the forest. After a bend to the right, the trail runs together with the "Grünes Kreuz" hiking trail for a short distance and also joins the circular trail "4" again. Above the Eiertal valley, circular trail 3 then runs independently westwards to the Plauser rest area and from there continues southwards over the Kühberg, where it meets up with the Green Cross and circular trail 4 again a short time later. After circling the Ungeheuersee lake (with a stop for refreshments!) at the Burgunderrastplatz, the route is the same as the Bänkeltour (marked: Grandpa with grandson) back over the Langentaler Hang to Weisenheim am Berg. There via "Am Kirschberg" and "Im Eiertal" onto Haalbergstraße and to the Mandeltal car park. The first three kilometres are slightly uphill, then the trail continues for three kilometres without any major inclines. From KM 6 onwards, the route goes downhill again in a moderate manner.

Die Tour ist genauso wie im Text beschrieben fast nur breite Wanderwege also Familienfreundlich aber für uns eher unspektakulär.... empindungssache...auch den See fanden wir nicht so toll.
