The Waldblick tour keeps what it promises: Shady forest paths that repeatedly reveal the view of the Rheinhessen hill country. Since the circuit runs completely over the Westerberg, there are no inclines - so you can run, watch and enjoy in a relaxed manner. It is also ideal for jogging and walking. And if you need a break, you can have a picnic with a view in the GAGA refuge or lie down in the wooden panoramic loungers and let your mind wander. The view from the Bisrmarck Tower into the Rhine Valley and into the Rheingau is an absolute must and fascinates everyone. The Waldeck mountain restaurant offers a place to stop for refreshments with a certain adventure factor for children, because next door is the Waldeck Tiger Garden, where you can experience the big cats up close . The Waldeck Tiger Garden offers guided tours ("Tiger - Eye to Eye"), during which you can get up to one meter to the animals. There is also a small petting zoo next to the tiger enclosure.
Author’s recommendation
Once a year there is a tiger festival in the Tiger Garden Waldeck, with numerous activities and guided tours where you can see the animals up close.

Turn-by-turn directions
The start is the Bismarck Tower with a great view of Ingelheim and the Rheingau. The path runs through the forest to the GAGA refuge, from where you can enjoy the wonderful view over the Gau-Algesheimer Laurenziberg to the Binger Loch. Without any major inclines, we continue through the forest. Again and again the view of the Rhine-Hessian landscape is released. If you want to linger, you can even enjoy the panorama in a reclining seat along the way. Horse paddocks and forest finally alternate, and then it goes back to the Bismarck Tower, where a nice opportunity to stop at the Waldeck mountain restaurant awaits - and the tiger garden as a little adventure at the end.
