We start at the community centre along the B41 and then turn left into Sonnenberger Weg. After the last house we keep to the right and reach the Rothenbachsberg. From the vantage point we enjoy the view over the roofs of Oberbrombach to Mackenrodt and Wildenburg. A little later we reach the next vantage point with two benches. We look over Niederbrombach to the Saarland. We continue on a narrow path through a coppice forest, later on a field path over fields and meadows with a wide panoramic view. On an asphalt field path we reach the K14, which we continue walking for 200m to the right before turning left into the road to Winnenberg. From the highest point of our hike we enjoy a fantastic panoramic view. Soon the path forks and we take the left path to the edge of the forest. To the right we walk a few meters over a meadow down into the forest. At the beginning steeply downhill, later a little flatter our way winds into the valley. Soon we discover a trickle which merges into the romantic "Teufelsgraben". Before it flows into the Nahe we meet the dream loop "Lorettaweg". Along the railway line and the Nahe we reach the bridge over the Lambach. We reach the Fischerhütte, the clubhouse of the fishing and nature conservation association of Oberbrombach. The idyllic place invites you to stay halfway along the way. We follow a narrow path uphill through old trees to the Nahe rock, a unique vantage point in the Nahe valley. We continue on beautiful forest paths, first level, later up and down, passing a resting place with a view of Algenrodt. At a fork in the path we keep to the right. This path, which later turns into a narrow, idyllic path, leads us along a gorge down into the Siesbach valley. Here we keep left and walk along the Siesbach. In a clearing we meet the so-called "Eselspfad" - an old connecting path from Idar-Oberstein to Oberbrombach - which leads us past the "Kühlenbrunnen" (cooling well) back to our starting point.
