The circular trail starts in Samersbach in the centre of the village at the cross and leads in the direction of the village exit along the Weiherheide. The trail continues upwards along a wide forest path to a hunting lodge. The open landscape at the edge of the forest offers the first beautiful "Struth" panoramic views. The trail continues partly over small forest paths along the wind turbines of the Beinhausen municipality over a panoramic meadow path above the village. A short climb leads to a rest area with a fantastic view of the Hilgerath parish church. Continue along a meadow path around Kradenbach and later along a high trail above Nerdlen back to Samersbach.

Insider tip: Fill up on some delicious spring water from the Schulldrees in Neichen.

Nette und nicht sonderlich anspruchsvolle Tour mit fast durchgängig schöner Aussicht. Mein einziger Kritikpunkt ist, dass die Route ausschließlich auf breiten Wegen, über weite Strecken sogar auf Teer- und Schotterstraßen verläuft. Die Beschilderung ist sehr gut.
