Experience a seven-day hike on the Ahrsteig from Blankenheim to Sinzig. If you have any further inquiries, we will be happy to address them!
The AhrSteig is not only a demanding hiking trail, it inspires by its natural diversity, as well as the wealth of natural monuments and cultural treasures along the route. Impressive views of the romantic Ahr valley far beyond the Ahrhoehe are the unique features of the AhrSteig. Idyllic forest paths and quiet meadow paths face gentle highlands and narrow rocky paths, lonely high plateaus alternate with lively wine villages. Along the stages, certified "quality hosts Wanderbares Deutschland" invite nature lovers and hikers to rest and linger. Information on public transport is placed at the respective start and end points of the stages. Trains are not hiking trails in the usual sense; the staff at the tourist information office in the Ahr Valley are happy to advise you on the individual stages and levels of difficulty.
The AhrSteig can be experienced not only on foot, but also by bike or on horseback - but in some places you have to dodge in a wider way.
