The tour leads along the Nordschleife, first up to the Hohe Acht section. If you want, you can accept the steep section with a gradient of 27% as a personal challenge.
Continuously past the racetrack and the popular spectator spots Brünnchen and Pflanzgarten, the route continues through the village of Nürburg. Here it is worth taking a detour to the Nürburg castle ruin, which entices with a grandiose panoramic view of the Eifel from the keep and allow you to take a deep breath.
From Nürburg it goes rapidly downhill through the Hatzenbach, past the Schwedenkreuz and along the Fuchsröhre to the Adenauer Forst.
In the tranquil, historic town of Adenau, numerous cafés and restaurants offer opportunities for a leisurely end of the tour. Finally you get back to the starting point in Breidscheid.
