The round trip first runs along the left side of the Rhine from Bad Breisig to the ferry Kripp-Linz and then back along the right side of the Rhine from Linz to Bad Hönningen.
From Bad Breisig, take the Rhine cycle path in the direction of Bonn to Kripp. Kripp is a small district of Remagen. From there you can take the ferry to Linz. The "colourful city on the Rhine" with its historic city centre is worth a visit. From Linz on the Rhine, you can cycle back to Bad Hönningen directly on the Rhine cycle path. Here you can take the ferry back to Bad Breisig. The Rhine promenade invites you to end the day with excellent and varied gastronomy.
A visit to the city centre of the "colourful city on the Rhine - Linz" is just as recommendable as the culinary end on the car-free Rhine promenade in Bad Breisig.

Kurpark Bad Breisig
The bike tour starts directly in the Kurpark in Bad Breisig, right next to the tourist information. From there it goes to the Rhine promenade on the Rhine cycle path, after about 250 m the gastronomic Rhine promenade is passed. Continue on the flat and separate cycle path directly along the Rhine in a northerly direction. After a few kilometres you will reach the boathouse Sinzig. From there it is only about 1 km to the mouth of the Ahr into the Rhine. A few hundred metres further on, the district of Kripp is reached.
From here you can take the ferry to Linz. Here you can visit the historical town of Linz or you can go directly south towards Leubsdorf/Bad Hönningen.
At first we continue on little frequented local roads through the small villages Leubsdorf and Ariendorf. Shortly before Bad Hönningen, the cycle path turns right under the railway and leads across the Bad Hönningen Rhine facilities.
The Rhine cycle path continues past the campsite to the Bad Breisig-Bad Hönningen ferry. After arriving in Bad Breisig, the route goes northerly back to the end point in the spa gardens.
