Bee trail Ulmen

A few beekeepers have come up with something very special for this idyllic spot: a 1.5 km bee trail illustrates the life and work of these important farm animals. Experience points entice you to observe and marvel. Information boards illustrate exciting details about bees and beekeeping. Relaxing loungers invite you to close your eyes and listen to the colourful goings-on. And the honey bread tastes especially sweet at the picnic area.

Honey bees are not only exciting to watch when collecting nectar in the many flowerpots. Protected by a pane of glass, you can catch a glimpse of their landing approach at the beehive, their legs heavily laden with pollen. In the flight path to their dwellings, it is bubbling. The entrances to the hives are closely guarded, and the bees defend their hive in an impressive manner.
