Creative artists have sculpted sculptures from various materials, which form a unique symbiosis with the Moselle, the village and the vineyards as an open-air exhibition. Discover the sculptures scattered across the landscape of Senheim.

The topographical conditions in combination with a strict classical urban planning concept became the starting point and source of inspiration for artistic creativity here. The shape of the terrain, the architectural and artistic designs form a triumvirate that merges into a total work of art and sets a significant accent in this formation. The newly designed ambience will henceforth have a major impact on the landscape of the Moselle region. Such a combination of the characteristic topography of a site flooded with light in conjunction with the architecture and an artistic form of construction allows insights - views - vistas and correspondence with people in this constellation. It grants the viewer a spatial experience of a special kind and underlines the landscape in the most subtle way. A concept that is probably unique in this selection and arrangement. Adjacent to the sculpture park above the heights of Senheim, the Literatenweg (Literary Path) presents linguistic works of art with annually changing artists and themes. Poems along the way invite you to pause and enjoy the play of words. Literary texts are presented on a total of 14 steles along the path.

Author’s recommendation

Visit the wine festival in Senheim on the last weekend in June. A traditional wine festival with a marquee, parade, music, dancing and a large tractor meeting.

Die Ausschilderung ist zumindest auf der Bergseite unterirdisch, auf die Moselseite hatten wir dann keine Lust mehr. Einen Stern gibt es nur für die Aussicht, aber die es woanders auch (und besser)
