The Stone Guest Book has been commemorating numerous prominent visitors to EdelSteinLand and the German Gemstone Road since 1976. The stones signed by the guests from politics, business and culture are set up along an approx. 1.7 km long nature-oriented circular route. More than 100 entries can be admired there.
The premium hiking trail Saar-Hunsrück-Steig runs directly through the stone guestbook.

The circular trail begins directly behind the parking lot of the Stone Guestbook. It can be walked in both directions. You follow the course of the trail along natural paths and can get an idea of the famous guests of the gemstone region along the way. The circular trail of the Stone Guestbook runs partly on the premium hiking trail Saar-Hunsrück-Steig.

From Idar-Oberstein train station, line 351 goes to Veitsrodt or Herborn. We recommend planning the route via www.rnn.info
Getting there
The Stone Guestbook is located directly on the L175. Coming from Idar-Oberstein/Tiefenstein follow the L175, at the traffic circle near Veitsrodt/Herborn take the exit towards Niederwörresbach/Herrstein. About 500 m after the traffic circle you will find the parking lot of the Stone Guestbook on the right side.Parking
